Who we are

Our website address is https://therapywebdesigns.co.uk. Therapy Web Designs is operated by Clive Wilson, based at Matlock Therapy Centre, 4 Lime Grove Walk, Matlock, Derbyshire.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at .

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images and articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content - including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

We do not sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties. We do not allow third-party companies to use your personal data for their own marketing purposes.

Acceptance of terms

Your access to and use of this website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the website.

By accessing or using the website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms you may not access the website. By instructing Therapy Web Designs to carry out design, development or other services you also agree to be bound by these Terms.

Website design and development services

These terms apply to all website design, development, hosting, SEO and related services provided by Therapy Web Designs.

Quotes and pricing

All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days. Work will not commence until a quote has been accepted in writing. Prices quoted are for the scope of work described - additional work requested beyond the original brief may be subject to additional charges, which will be agreed in advance.

Payment

A deposit of 50% is required before work commences on new site builds. The remaining balance is due on completion before the site is transferred to live hosting or handed over to the client. Payment terms for ongoing services such as hosting and SEO are monthly or annual as agreed.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, content, images and any other materials required for the project in a timely manner. Delays caused by late provision of materials may affect delivery timescales. Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all work before it is made live.

Revisions

All site builds include a reasonable number of revisions during the development process. Significant changes to the original brief after work has commenced may be subject to additional charges. We will always discuss this with you before proceeding.

Ownership

On receipt of full payment, ownership of the completed website passes to the client. The client owns all content they have provided. Therapy Web Designs retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless specifically requested otherwise in writing.

Hosting services

Hosting is provided on an annual basis. We will endeavour to maintain maximum uptime but cannot guarantee 100% availability. Daily backups are included but clients are advised to maintain their own copies of important content. Hosting fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced.

Accounts

Where you create an account on this website you must provide information that is accurate, complete and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the service and for any activities or actions carried out under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

Intellectual property

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.

Third-party images, fonts and software used in websites we build are subject to their own licensing terms. We ensure all third-party assets used in client projects are properly licensed for commercial use.
